Magnetoelectric materialsm, multiferroics, micromagnetism, scanning probe microscopy, magnetooptics. A.P. Pyatakov develops the new area of magnetism: the micromagnetism of magnetoelectric materials and multiferroics. This subject is not only of topical fundamental interest but also meets the current needs of magnetic memory industry and spintronics.
Sci. Biography:
Graduated Physics Department of M.V. Lomonosov MSU in 2001 (the title of diploma work "Numerical siumulation of images in magnetic force microscopy”. PhD degree (Thesis: “Magnetic and magneto-optical properties of the media with violated space and time parity”).
